By Air : Varanasi has its own airport at a little distance away from the town known as the Babatpur airport. The city is well connected to all the major cities of the country like Delhi, Khajuraho, Lucknow and Mumbai.

By Rail Varanasi has a railway station which connects it to all the major cities of the country. The nearby Mughal Sarai railway station is also an option. Few cities that are connected to Varanasi by rail are Ahmedabad, Cochin, Delhi, Gwalior, Kolkata, Madras, Mumbai, Tirupati and Puri.

By Road : Varanasi is situated on NH 2 which extends from from Kolkata to Delhi as such it is well connected to rest of the country by roads.
